La comunidad junto con el río piden por su limpieza
'Together the Community and River ask for Cleanliness'
Statements from River resident's interviews were embroidered upon handmade textiles purchased from artisans at the local market in Puebla. The embroideries were then brought to the banks of the Atoyac River and 'washed' to symbolize a lost custom and as a means for the River to absorb the community's sentiments.
